Absolutely.
And with Russell and Stone there is no way you can pay them to be above average 4s and more than Brodie to fulfill a 5/6 hole.
If that's the money they want then you walk away in my mind, and move on to cheaper options that are solid 5s, hoping the play of Kulak and Andersson/Kylington/depth signing can make it work.
Sooner or later this team has to assume they will make the playoffs and do the legwork in Sep-Dec to get young players ready to be an impact in April and May.
