Some is definitely jealousy, but can't say I don't disagree with some of the points. I've been going for going on ten years now, and it's getting a little out of control. Most people are great, but seems to be that more and more people turning up making this a big drunk at what is generally a family event. The Saturday night game was pretty bad. Kind of like what happened at McMahon Stadium when the Riders started hosting that party at Foothills Stadium.
Now I'm no angel, and spent the weekend boozing so i'm kind of the pot calling the Kettle black, but I'm pretty careful not to poke the bear in their own den and keep the big time partying until I hit Capitol Hill after the game. We are essentially guests in someone else's stadium. There's no need to be yelling in people's face that "This is our stadium this weekend", and yelling Trump insults at people who live in an area that is 99.99% against the Republican Party.
Not sure why people feel the need to do that, than I remembered that most other parts of the year these people are Canucks fans.

Just catching up and read this but if that crap is happening it's fairly disappointing. The US is going through some tough times, but it would be good if Canadians could, you know, be Canadian and that means being humble. Not arrogant, annoying, cocky dbags while you're in somebody else's country. That used to be the way of Americans but sadly it's becoming more the norm for Canadians instead, and it is an absolutely revolting quality and extremely unbecoming- Canuck fan or not.
