Brouwer's contract is like a protection slot. Basically means he's not going to get picked. You don't have to trade things to Vegas or protect him to not have him picked. Unless Treliving got dropped on his head in the past few weeks he isn't going to lose someone of value or trade assets to prevent Vegas from taking him.
