Looked like any interference happened after it was already in the net. And if the Crosby mid air deflection goal told us anything, it's that you can make contact with the goalie, as long as the puck went in (even) 1/34 of a second before it.
A Flames skate being behind the goalie doesn't seem like adequate interference. He still looked able to be outstretched and make a stop and it didn't appear to be the thing that impeded him. He just lost track and it slipped through. Like a said at the time, messy but a goal. Much like the one we saw in Calgary vs the Kings. Except no pad was physically forced in like in this instance.
Inconsistencies...inconsistencies...........
What's a goal? What's a penalty (and when)? They zig then they zag, and just leave us fans in the dark.
