When you make the comparison of those trades to moving Poirer for Crosby I question how much youmeother value these 40 year olds?
In what world is Chaisson for Iginla comparably bad to Poitier for Crosby? Replies like that are over the top imo

Iginla and Doan will add depth to a team. We have depth, we don't need depth guys, we need a top end RW or another goalie otherwise there isn't a lot we need to tinker with, especially the 4th line.
Will Doan or Iginla be an upgrade to our 4th line? The 4th line which really is there to provide continuous speed, grit, and energy to keep the tempo up with occasional scoring? Probably not.
Is Bouma, with his 2.2mil cap hit something Colorado needs for next season? Probably not.
Is Chiasson a player that the Coyotes see in their future as an RFA? Probably not, maybe.
Does Iginla fetch more than a fourth liner with a high cap hit? Maybe.
Does Doan fetch more than a pending RFA who's really a serviceable third to fourth liner? Probably.
Does Iginla and Doan want to come to Calgary or head to a contender where they have the strongest chance to win a cup? Probably the latter. We aren't a contender yet.
Was my proposal rude in response to your comment? Yes, my apologies. It's not nice to belittle other posters, but there are many questions you need to pose before you put out a trade proposal that makes zero sense.
