My point more was that it's stupid and unrealistic for fans to expect the Flames to fire their new coach after 57 games just because Julien became available all of a sudden.
Would make this organization look like the biggest gong show in the NHL.
The real mistake here was that they should have made a bigger push for Boudreau when he was available, not that they didn't fire GG for Julien now.

That would be solved pretty quickly if an elite coach came in and made this a really good hockey team. The Flames get no awards for being the polite franchise of the NHL.
