Looking back at the drafts in 2000 it doesn't look like there will that many more in the next little bit. Of course there is Crosby who is sitting at 983 who will probably hit 1000 some time in February. After that the next highest point total is Spezza who is sitting at 837 and Malkin is at 804 (Staal is sitting at 816 but I don't think he makes it). Kane is at 708 and between him and Malkin probably account for the next player after Crosby to hit 1000 (for players drafted since 2000).
