Okay we're there? Good.
Bruce Garrioch is a poor media talent as well, if a rumour is accredited to him you always have have several posts replying to "take it with a grain of salt". Why is that okay and calling out another guy wrong? Sorry guys, but I won't hold Millions to a lower standard because he's posted here previously, not going to do that. It doesn't matter if it's injury reports, line matches, or how to pronounce Jakub Nakladal, Roger Millions will somehow report it wrong. He's in a rush to be first and would be better served taking a second or two and getting it right.
Also please don't brush things aside "because it's twitter". That's so ridiculous. Twitter is the tool these guys use now. Do you only accept things as factual if it's printed in the Sunday edition of the Calgary Sun?
Double also, and I hate the fact I have to say this, most know Roger and I don't exactly like each other, on a personal level. I think he's a good broadcaster but as a person I see him differently. I can separate the two, and I hope you can in any possible replies to this. That might not be needed but I feel like it'll be brought up and wanted to cut it off at the pass.

I disagree on the Twitter part, for me it's the whole point, to be honest the fact that it's Roger is not relevant. It's the entitled crying that goes on over it. If you chose to consume your updates and media over a source like Twitter, because you want and can't live without the instant and easily digestible sound bites, then you must also deal with its flaws. Twitter is meant to be quick and relatively real time, which also makes it easily updateable.
Don't expect the 100% accuracy and or context that might caveiat any inaccuracies of any report if you chose not to wait for an actual broadcast or published article on a web site or print. You can't have it all.
On top of it all, it's just how devastated people get if they had the wrong info for 5mins. Go out and get kidnapped or something, have some real #### happen to you.
