Correct, however the Ducks then won 4 in a row followed by 2 OT losses to have a record of 5-7-4 after 16 games. The Flames are only at 5-10-1.
Also, the Ducks went a ridiculous 29-8-4 during the 2nd half of the season. I have no confidence the Flames can come anywhere near that.
Anyways, I am starting to panic. I thought this team was a year away from being a cup contender but now it looks like another long rebuild ahead.
