The Flames return to the scene of the crime, where the win streak began. Can the boys start a new one? Will anyone in Chicago be watching hockey tonight? We shall see!

How They Match Up
Forwards: Blackhawks
Toews should spark after first goal of campaign.
Defence: Blackhawks
This one could be a coin-flip.
Goaltending: Flames
Elliott outduelled Crawford in their last showdown.
Power Play: Blackhawks
Flames have only four PP goals, two in Chicago.
Penalty Kill — Flames
Chicago’s shorthanded stats are shockingly bad.
Intangibles — Blackhawks
United Center is one of NHL’s scariest stops.
Overall — Blackhawks
But hey, we were wrong last time these two squads met.
Set-up Notes
The Flames are visiting United Center for the second time in a nine-day span. Thanks to a pair of power-play tallies, an acrobatic toe save by G Brian Elliott in the final seconds and a snipe by RW Kris Versteeg in the seventh round of the tie-breaking skills competition, they scratched out a 3-2 shootout victory last Monday … The Flames haven’t won twice in the Windy City in the same season since 2007-08. That was also the last time the Blackhawks missed the playoffs … The Flames’ last five victories against the Hawks have all come via overtime or shootout. Their last regulation triumph against Chicago was back in February 2012 at the Saddledome … Blackhawks C Artem Anisimov is currently riding a seven-game point streak, tied for the third-longest spree in the NHL so far this season. C Claude Giroux has hit the scoresheet in nine consecutive contests for the Philadelphia Flyers, while C Victor Rask has points in eight straight for the Carolina Hurricanes … The Blackhawks have the NHL’s worst penalty-kill stats, by far, with just a 53.1% success rate in shorthanded scenarios. In fact, Sunday’s 3-0 shutout victory over the Los Angeles Kings marked the first time in nine outings so far this fall that they didn’t surrender a man-advantage marker … After Tuesday’s tilt, the Flames are headed west for a three-games-in-four-nights jaunt through California.
