Just as some quick food for thought, haven't some players in the past used their limited NTCs to really narrow down trade targets? For example, if someone were on the Flames and really wanted a trade to Boston, they'd name as their five teams:
- Vancouver
- Edmonton
- Anaheim
- Los Angeles
- Boston.
By doing that, they basically force a trade to Boston since the chances of trading within the division are much lower. Then again... that risks a trade to Edmonton...something no one in their right mind would do...
