Well I will counter and say he's doing that on his employers time. It's one thing to have your personal beliefs but most employers don't pay their employees to demonstrate their personal political views in the workplace. Sports like movies, TV, etc is escapist entertainment and I don't believe fans tune in or buy tickets to see players demonstrate their political views. I know I didn't tune into the Oscars to hear Leonardo DiCaprio announce to the world he was ignorant about Chinooks in Southern Alberta but at least accepting an award isn't on company time. I have no issue with him in an interview on his own time saying his peace or being part of some Black Lives Matter protest but to demonstrate on work time when he's being paid millions is not professional IMO.
