Erdogan has already re-ignited the war on Kurds within Turkey after the Kurdish political wing became one of his strongest political opponents. Now that the political alllies of Kurds are also under threat of violence and the Kurds are already armed and fighting, there's a clear risk that the violence starts to escalate.
Most attempts to become dictators do not bring political stability, and even fewer dictatorships end peacefully.
