The apology Trudeau made in the House is pretty much what you would expect from an apology made in the House. It's all meant to be specifically phrased in a certain way (i.e.: referring to the aggrieved party as "the member" rather than by name), so I personally don't have an issue with how Trudeau handled that aspect.

That said, lets not pretend that this incident is only his elbowing of Brosseau. His entire behavour was out of line. So much so that the Speaker probably should have ejected him from the House yesterday and only allowed him back in today to apologize. Mulcair is dialing the hyperbole up to 11 on this one, but he is not wrong at all in stating that you never saw this kind of entitled behaviour from previous PMs.
