I saw this one the weekend and pretty much agree with the majority of reviews I've read. It was not good.
There were some definite positives though. Ben Affleck's Batman was great. Loved his Batman voice and his fight scenes were practically ripped straight out of the Arkham series. Wasn't a fan of him killing people but whatever.
I was also pleasantly surprised with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. However, her presence in this movie was not needed. I will fully admit to not being much of a DC guy. Outside of Batman I am not interested in a single DC character. That being said, I thought WW was great and I am looking forward to her solo film.
Unfortunately, this film didn't work for me. It was so disjointed and so bogged down with extraneous content that I had a hard time getting into the film. We really didn't need to see the deaths of Bruce's parents again.
I thought the dream sequence was very cool but entirely unnecessary. I liked seeing a Batman that was pushed over the line and Superman looked like a badass killing those guys but the sequence didn't feel important to the story.
The Lois Lane plot was terrible. I have no idea why she was given so much screen time.
Eisenberg was awful. I like the guy as an actor but that was a horrible Lex Luthor.
The Justice League "tease" was bad. The first reveal would have been fine. Having WW sit down and watch each video was stupid and felt out of place. The entire thing felt like DC's shortcut to the Justice League movie.
