I've always thought that Batman's so called I don't kill people moral code was a big lie to cover up the fact that the guy was a mass murderer. He didn't go around directly shooting people in the face with a bat gun, but he certainly has a lot of blood on his hands where his actions have killed people that were innocent and otherwise.
