Shore, Van Brabant, Elson, Poulin, Jooris.... that's all just good organizational depth, why would we want to give that up for no reason? Those are cheap easy assets to retain.

Because for a lot of those players, it may be time to hit the reset button and let them go as we add new assets from drafts or FA signings.
