The team isn't terrible. The goaltending is terrible. The team has boatloads of promise heading forward and a lot of tremendous young players to build around. Not sure why you choose to focus on their spot in the standings as opposed to the core pieces they've accumulated. Calgary is one of the best young teams in the league IMO. Not very far away from being a perennial contender.
