Afraid? Probably not - Kadri is reasonably tough, as I have seen him fight. Why not answer the bell then?
You rock any of the smaller skilled guys league wide, and you expect a teammate to respond like Jooris did. At least Jooris had enough character to at least try and pick him up in order to fight him, rather than just start pummeling him. Good on Jooris for showing some class, to a player who has shown absolutely no class thus far in his time in the league.
Kadri is simply one of the little rats in this league, similar to other guys like Burrows, Kesler, and Lappy (who is out of the NHL now). It was just simply wonderful the first game seeing him get laid-out, then acting like a complete punk of a jack-ass, and watching him get laid out again (and again) as he tries to get retribution on Giordano. I will tell you one thing - Giordano wouldn't have pretended he was shot and laid down on the ice in that embarrassing fashion if Kadri challenged him.
Gaudreau and his 67 flex intermediate stick must have broken Kadri's femur by the looks of it.
