Yeah, I never saw that, and I was in the whole generation where there was a no ask no tell policy.

We just simply didn't care, we cared if the guy sitting next to you in the trench could be counted on when the bullets started to fly.

And racists, give me a break, serving in uniform made a lot of us color blind and race blind.

I hate the stereotype of all soldiers as knuckle dragging racist homophobes. Do they have representation, sure they do, the same as civilians.

I will state that the guys that were racists or made jokes outside of the realm of the usual out there soldier humor didn't last long in units with different races.
