Is Calgary coked up? They're seemingly everywhere, with a few strides their entire forward line is making it back to check and thwart any neutral zone momentum the Canes get. They've been doing it all night.

I missed the 1st. But we looked…slow…..inept….not as engaged as the Flames in the second. They beat us to the puck at both ends of the ice. Eddie didn’t look sharp. Our offense isn’t generating much. And it will be interesting to see if we can turn anything around in the next period.
THIS is the kind of occasional stinker game this team historically throws out there, that makes some of us really question how capable we are of making a playoff run. Should we fail to beat a team well below us in the standings, who had the same break we did, doesn’t show a team really committed and capable of being a playoff team. Dropping this game which our Optimistic playoff guys/number runners have put in the "yeah we should win this one" type of game immediately hurts our progress…
This third period will tell us a lot about this team. What are they made of, what is their compete level. Good teams win without their A game. I do not think we are a good team and need our A Game to win the majority of nights, hence my skepticism of our chances. But they can prove me wrong by coming back in the third. We’ll see.
