Well Wideman and Russell aren't long for this franchise and Gio is closing on his mid-30's so I wouldn't expect the blueline production to last forever. Also I believe at times that blueline scoring has come at the expense of goals against so it evens out. I still believe this team needs elite scoring wingers badly as this team depends too much on their defense for offense and as we saw at the beginning of the season that isn't something you want to lean on overly for success.

I think Russell and Wideman are replaceable points wise. Hamilton by himself could shoulder a good portion.
Even if Gio loses a step and drops to the second pairing I think he will be good for 45-50 points for a long time.
