HOWEVER in a lot of the games I've looked into that the Panthers have won, it seems they're routinely outshot/chanced, sometimes by a wide margin but manage to squeak it out on the scorboard. Seems theres a bit of the 14/15 Flames effect going on with them. Opportunistic but beat in the advanced stats.

I still don't see them as defensive juggernauts as you seemed to claim in the GDT.

They are 28th in shots for, and 15th in shots against, yet they still sit atop the Atlantic. They remind me much more of the Carlyle leafs of 2012-2013 or the Avalanche of 2013-2014. Great goaltending and winning despite being badly outshot most games.
