I have the Blu-rays of the original trilogy and, for the most part, they look great. Well, except for the garbage cgi added later by Lucas. Most of the time it is distracting and completely unnecessary. A 5 second shot of the exterior of Jabbas palace? Better add a creature in the foreground doing something stupid or the audience might get bored and stop watching. That's how a lot of the prequels felt to me, just a barrage of poorly thought out cgi.

We have been doing the same thing with the kids. We finished #4 last night. I am really struck by what a bad movie it is. The dialogue is poor, the production quality isn't great.
I completely agree with the CGI. It is now a game with the kids, can they identify the added in CGI?
