While I think Cooper sometimes outsmarts himself you can't argue that the results of his tenure in TB have been very good including making it to the finals last season. Some of Stamkos best statistical seasons happened on bad Lightning teams so maybe Stamkos has to choose between playing a team game and winning or going the Phil Kessel route and collecting great stats on a loser. It he wants to go for the stats then Toronto is probably the best place for him as he will get worshipped for being a high paid, high scoring loser.
