Not to mention a professional franchise thinking it's a good idea to trade considerable assets for a guy who is close to being a bust but, having played for the Oil Kings in his junior years, is actually a sound investment. In fact, most of the Oilers management seems to anchor themselves on the nostalgia factor. This is why MacTavish and Lowe are still around. I don't know why Nicholson and Chiarelli think this is a good idea.
