Unfortunately I think they'll keep him even if they crash out today, but he'll be on very thin ice then. The fans have already turned against him, and if the club also loses CL money, his leash will probably be a short one.

I dont know what to say, I buy it because Giggs is there at his side like a faithful puppy all the time and I imagine he has to have some input because United have spent a crapton of money on players recently and they either have to be Van Gaal's purchases with Gigg's input or a spectacular waste of money.
As it is though, I do agree that I dont see any repercussions if United crash out.
