It was great coaching that helped set things up to play out the way they did.

I've noticed he never starts Gaudreau in OT, despite the fact he's clearly the best on the team at that format. I figure he wants Monahan and Gio out against whoever the other team thinks is their best player, they inevitably don't do well, and then Johnny gets out against their second line. It's worked well.
