I get to go to games for free for work. As many as I like.
But I travel a lot and time with family is tight, it's no fun to brave the cold and take prospective clients to watch ####ty hockey. My clients agree, as it is hard to even find people to go. When the Flames are bad it is no fun to be at the Dome.
It's not about the wins, the hockey is ####. This season the Flames are a flat, uncommitted team that looks like the last year before the rebuild started. That scares me, because it was hard getting people to games before the tear down happened.
IMO Flames need radical and decisive surgery to prevent a long term cancer from forming. The high energy style is a must.
