Trading a Poirier type player for DSP isn't overvaluing him.

I made one of those comments because I'm confused to your blind infatuation with this guy. If Treliving wanted size so bad, he'd just dress Kanzig or trade for Ben Street or get any other really big guy. The Flames need a top 6 guy with big size, not just size. You could have a line up of guys all over 6'6" and be terrible. Having big players isn't nearly as important as you're making it out to be, if Treliving agreed, he wouldn't have such a small team to begin with. DSP is a third line guy who can put up 20 points, he isn't garbage by any stretch but he isn't a difference maker like some think he is. I asked what you think he'd get on the open market if he was a UFA because I don't think he'd get that much. If that doesn't make you think differently about him then ask how good the team would actually be if they had a 20 point guy in their top 6? He's valuable and I'd trade one of our current project 3-4 line guys for him but I wouldn't give up a prospect who could be more for him. You really seem like the one who's "butthurt" over DSP because people don't agree with your claim that he's anything more than a 3rd line guy.
