What is Sean Burke up to now? From what I remember, he left the Coyotes after last season because he wanted a bigger role than just being the goalie coach.

I'm not saying the Flames should hire him to replace Hartley, but I wonder if there's a role for him here? He worked wonders with the goalies in Phoenix, turning around the floundering careers of Bryzgalov, Smith, and especially Dubnyk. If there's one thing the Flames need now, it's an improvement in goal.

Obviously, he has a previous relationship with Treliving from their days in Phoenix. As an added bonus, his son is the goalie for the Hitmen.
