The Ewokes and other child like characters were all about the toys.

Yeah but kids, even the youngest kids want the Lukes, the Solos and the Darths as toys. No kid wants an Ewok, do they?

It's funny how I love the movies, yet I find there is so much wrong with them and it seems many a poster here feels the same.


As an aside, a part of me wished Yoda joined Luke on the Death Star to face the Emporer and Vader. It would have given Yoda a chance at redeeming himself for his failure to destroy the emperor in Episode 3.

Then as the battle ensued between the 4 of them, Palpatine kills Yoda, enraging Luke. It would have made Luke's internal struggle with his feelings even more epic. And when Luke ultimately chooses to save his father instead of destroying him, it would have proved even more that Luke is the greatest and wisest of all Jedis.

Man I can't wait to see what the new one has in store!
