Yep. You could see his contributions right away. The man knows how to put those first passes out of the zone
on the tape.
He's also one of the best in the game at carrying the puck up himself. That beyond anything has been his trademark ability. Skates the puck deep with speed and does it successfully without it getting picked off 9/10 times.
Getting pretty damn good at getting quality shots on net now, too.
