One thing to notice during Widemans tenure here in CGY, he has a serious case of the Iggy's. By that I mean a notoriously slow starter to a season. I have faith Wideman will round into form.
I do feel as though Russell will be the odd man out. Cheaper to trade, GM's always find grit and heart a tangible asset and values it. I won't like it, but Hamilton pushed Russell out the door even though you would think it would be Wideman, but not right now. Wideman's going finish his contract in CGY I think.
