The Stellar was supposed to a leap forward and a "better" car incorporating lessons learned from the Pony. Unfortunately, nothing was and I swear it rusted even faster than the Pony.
It was an utter POS, and a large part why I still can't get over my distrust Hyundai / Kia to this date. (though I know they are much improved..)

I have the same anti-Hyundai bias because of this. I sold it for pennies on the dollar, the guy blew the motor within a week of buying it from me.
The rear wheel drive in that car made for some winter fun, though.
