I think all EE is saying is that the FOI forum is generally about hockey and hockey related topics. This thread hasn't been about hockey since the early pages. I guess you could say that because it involves a hockey player it belongs here but I actually agree with EE, this isn't about hockey and it's about an extremely uncomfortable topic. As I've mentioned, someone very close to me was sexually assaulted and I don't like the topic either as it reminds me of bad situations and people's suffering. I do check on the thread randomly because I honestly can't wait for this to be done with just so I don't have a constant reminder about it every time I'm looking at thread titles. I'd check in on it randomly if it was in the off topic forum but because it's always here, always reminding us about it, we have no choice on whether we see it or not. If we enter the thread or not, we still have to be reminded about it because it's here. Shouldn't have said what I said, didn't really make sense at all.
