Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if he accepted a ck tract similar to the one offered by the Bruins. Maybe the Flames go another million on the AAV and go the full 7 or 8 years they are allowed to go.
I think there is some truth that Dougie wanted out of Boston and coming to a team with core players in his age range is something I think he really wanted
Johnny, Monahan, Bennett, Brodie, Colborne, Jooris, Shore, Granlund, Backlund, Bouma, Ferland all in that 19-26 age range
