So, how does that work? Are you saying that last season was the best that can be expected from Giordano because he is now 32-years-old? Maybe. But not every player is the same. Giordano might have an even better year this season, or, he might not. Two years from now, he might have the best season of his career, or, he might not. These questions with regard to an individual player's "prime" are never nearly as cut-and-dried as your claim makes it out to be.
Oh, and the team should extend Giordano because even at 33-years-old he is still the best player on the team by a considerable margin.
