Tim Murray said something like this after firing Nolan (paraphrasing)
"We had a different opinion on some things. I didn't consult with him about player movement and we disagreed on that, but that's the way I do things..."
That's a very rough paraphrase, but the key was Murray thought it was perfectly acceptable to have zero discussions with the coach on player movement....I was floored by that logic. He is most definitely a foolish asshat
