Granlund is Backlund 2.0 at this stage but younger. Makes him redundant! I love his play, but too many of the same player.
Not stellar in anyway? I think Granlund is a damn fine hockey player. 3rd line floor. Selling a 22 year old prospect short! I want the guy to move to wing, he is such a mature prospect defensively. Has a lot of offense to his game too.
Sorry, we write off prospects too soon around here. Yet I do admit Granlund is redundant here. He is an asset we should trade. Not cause I don't like him, we will never use him to his fullest potential.
Why? Depth at center. For over a decade we had no centers. Now we have ten! Funny how weakness can be come a strength so soon!
