He's the perfect 5th defenceman who can play up and down the roster. Good skater; great first pass, can play PP, and good in the shootout. His advanced stats are great too. If you look up his HERO chart on ownthepuck.ca, his advanced metrics other than points and TOI say he's a top 4 guy.
