I remember being in law school in 2005ish when Harper won the election. Classmates thought their lives were over and were almost in tears. It didn't really chnage my life at all. Taxes go up or down a little, some social programs are enhanced or scaled back, but mostly some people just seem to really personally hate certain leaders. My life isn't really going to change based on who is elected.
