The Sharks would be crazy to get rid of Doug Wilson. He's kept that team good for years, and managed to quietly retool without giving up major pieces. He should be allowed a chance to build around a new core - the only question is why he hasn't done so yet.
It's not right that he effectively slams Thornton in public, but Thornton just sealed his fate with the comments. Joe Thornton will be traded in the summer, and after Wilson couldn't find an offer he liked, because everyone knew how desperate DW was to trade him, what will they be like this summer? Some team is going to get a nice piece for $.50 on the dollar.
