That's assuming 3rd overall becomes an elite player though. You do have to consider the scenario that they don't. Drouin for example who I still think will improve a lot is a player in a pretty deep top heavy draft that was selected 3rd overall and hasn't quite met expectations yet. In that amazing 2003 draft Horton and Zherdev went 3 and 4. Horton really helped Boston win the Cup but his time in Florida was pretty forgettable. 2008 you have Bogosian at 3 while Stamkos Doughty and Pietrangelo made up the other top 4.
