To even remotely come close to replacing Giordano's production, at the very minimum we would've had to give up what Tampa did for Coburn, a guy who is no Gio. That would've been stupid.
To replace Glencross, we would've had to give up the very picks that we traded for. That would've been redundant.
I don't really see what Treliving could've done today for the current team, that would've made sense from a big-picture perspective. He was right to stay he course.
