Byfuglien didn't do anything that any number of players have done in the past. 99.9% of the time, it stays in the room. Kane chose to take his ball and go home in Vancouver, and now he's quit entirely on the Jets. All because he had a hissyfit over being called out.

Buff chose to be a bully even if such actions are normally accepted in the dressing room.
Maybe Kane is mentally fragile. Maybe he battles depression. Whatever it is, he either couldn't or didn't want to take it and removed himself from the situation. Buff helped the Jets get into this mess by being the straw that broke the camels back.
