Hmm, I think you might want to re-think your math there. In any event, of course the 8 game skid hurt. It's a blight on what has otherwise been a great season. But why just count this winning streak and the 8 game losing streak? That losing streak was sandwiched between two other winning streaks - so they went 8-8 over 16 games, then another 3-game losing streak and this four game winning streak.


The reason the current streak helps to make up for the skid is that they were on the road and 3 of the wins came against teams that we are battling with for our playoff spot...as well as coming after that 8-game losing streak that many expected would sap the confidence and momentum built up by this young and surprising team. The last three game streak was deeply concerning too because they played so poorly and really deserved those losses. Whether we ultimately make the playoffs or not, you have to really admire the resilience and mental make-up of this team. They're for real and they should only get better.
