Chief is saying he meant no offense to Gabe, but regardless, the insinuation that the Jets Organization is somehow exploiting him (as furthered by Jiri pointing out there are those that question if he's being 'used') it was a valid point to touch on. They Jets have been first class all the way in aligning themselves with Gabe. He means as much to the organization as the team means to him and he's become a fixture in the city's sports scene.
