What are you yammering on about now? Letang plays more minutes by a long way than any other player on one of the best defensive teams in the league.
Phaneuf is below average defensively....i think you are really trying to make a case for Dion that simply doesn't exist and in doing so you are reaching for anything that may suit your argument.
he is what he is....a below average defensive dman who has a better than average offensive flair to him....but when you add in that he is supposed to be the leader of that team and all the other supposed locker room stuff, then add in the fact of his atrocious contract....he is just not anywhere near an elite guy. And most certainly no where near the level of Kris Letang.
