This is wrong. The team would have 85 points in this case.
So the Flames have to go 29-19-1 (ish) to get around 95 pts, which still may not even be enough to get into the post-season.

Is it just me or does it seem like in this day and age you really have to play at a decent clip all season long to even have a sniff of the playoffs. Must be the extra OT point but when I see stats like this it's still sort of surprising. One losing or winless streak, not even as bad as the one we're seeing now, and your season is suddenly in jeopardy it seems.

EDIT: not saying the Flames season is now doomed or anything like that either. Just that you certainly can find yourself out of the picture in short order simply by losing a few games in a row.
